About The Blogger
Like my darling husband, I don’t really “blog” often (except on the company site), so this blog mostly points you to various social networks that I am personally somewhat active on, Actually, I’ve started blogging some, though I can’t tell you what may go here. I own a hosting company, I’m a Mom, and I ramble, so put that all together and you get a rambling blog in a Mom voice about web hosting and related stuff as well as other rambling personal observations on whatever it is I happen to be thinking about.
For the 2010-2011 school year, my child has enrolled in a pilot program with the State of Texas to attend virtual public school at home, and a number of blog posts will likely focus on that experience.
In the sidebar you can find all the obligatory social networks that I or DrakNet as a company is active on (which may be me or any of our staff). Occasionally, I may post, but this blog isn’t really a high priority endeavor and it’s just a place to stick something I feel like saying that takes longer than a tweet or status update and which would be remarkably unprofessional if posted on the business blog.
I’m a member of Techxans Technology Executives Network, and I’m also currently serving on the Standards and Ethics Subcommittee of the newly formed Association of Internet and Hosting Service Providers, the web hosting industry’s first ever trade organization (well, I was, until they basically pulled back to figure out what the heck they are doing).
